You Can Pick One Celebrity To Back You Up In A Bar Fight...Who Ya Got?
Now this....THIS is an interesting Answer the Internet question. Few things get the engine revved quite like a hypothetical about what celebrity you'd love to say grab a drink which I actually saw the wonderful Bert Kreischer tweet about yesterday to his many, many followers.
Now the answer to questions like that are obviously endless with Chapelle being an obvious answer. The man Bert himself a viable option. And of course if we're going with comedians that are no longer with us one of my dark horse answers would VERY MUCH be Mr. Warmth himself Don Rickles solely so he can roast my ass, we can laugh, and then potentially hangout with a few Rat Pack members in the process. So of course that's a fun prompt to answer, but you know what's even more fun? The fighting version of it. What celebrity would you want backing you up in a bar fight?
I did see a lot of the responses on there being UFC guys and former wrestlers which I think is kind've unfair to the question. OBVIOUSLY I'd love for Francis Ngannou to back me up in a bar fight, but if that's an option then who the hell isn't picking him? Unfair! Now if we're getting into regular like movie star people like it should be that brings up an interesting conversation…
I'm confident in my Neeson pick yet if someone out there is gonna give him trouble there is a steady possibility it's John Wick himself. This is worrying.
McConaughey is an interesting pick here as I've never considered him much of a fight guy although I could totally see him having some sort of Kingsman-like swagger to him in a barfight where once second he's spewing some cool Dazed & Confused quote before the next thing you know there's 4 guys on the ground.
Big Taf is a VERY interesting choice here. Someone that doesn't hit you on the top of the head in terms of bar fights and that's probably because he's already shutting down said bar. Can't fight someone in a bar if they shut it down before fight happens. Chess not checkers.
Another legit option to take out Neeson here is Statham. I watched his new movie the Wrath of Man recently on a flight and let me tell ya…that is one SCARY DUDE. It was a remotely similar plot to Taken so if you're interested in that stuff you should 100% give it a go.
Moral of the story though I have to stick with Neeson. You can't be the man that taught Obi-Wan Kenobi, Batman, Agent Bryan Mills, AND more all in one and not make him your pick to help you out in a bar fight. Just simply cannot.
